Figleaf Boutique

Looking to find the latest trends in young women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry & other accessories? If so, stop by “Figleaf Boutique” in the South Side to check out their trendy merchandise at great prices.

Little Tokyo Bistro

My all-time favorite sushi restaurant is “Little Tokyo Bistro” located in the South Side. Charming owner, Frank Lin, began with “Little Tokyo” in Mt. Lebanon, and due to its tremendous success and popularity, opened up a second location right here in our neighborhood. Now South Side residents have the opportunity to enjoy their always-fresh Sushi and Sashimi, Hibachi, Tempura, Teriyaki, Udon Noodles and delicious appetizers.

Twelve Whiskey Barbeque

“Twelve Whiskey BBQ” is a great South Side restaurant with a fun, rustic décor and a menu offering a little bit of everything ranging from sandwiches and burgers to the delicious barbecue that they are known for. Also, be sure to check out their fabulous brunch, extensive draft list and daily specials.

Carson City Saloon

With nightly drink specials and a menu that includes appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wraps and a variety of flavors of wings, “Carson City Saloon” is a lively place to gather with friends – especially on game days/nights!

Tres Rios (3R)

At “Tres Rios,” you really can’t go wrong with the mix of authentic Mexican cuisine, friendly service, and perhaps a Margarita selected from their unique cocktail menu. When you factor in their unique décor (think Mexican-Pittsburgh fusion) and some spicy Latin tunes playing in the background, it’s not difficult to forget the worries of your day!

Mallorca

With the combination of superior customer service and their fabulous Spanish-Continental menu, it is no wonder that “Mallorca” has stood the test of time in our South Side neighborhood. They also offer an extensive wine list and a small but lovely outdoor dining area.

Games N’at

If you’re looking for a fun place to burn off some steam and get a touch of nostalgia, “Games N’at” is a small but fun-filled arcade filled with all sorts of games that are sure to bring back loads of childhood memories. Besides video games (X-Box and loads of old-school arcade classics), they also have pool tables, ping-pong, basketball, pinball, air hockey and more!

Nakama

The South Side’s “Nakama” is a trendy South Side Hibachi and Sushi restaurant that serves some of the largest rolls I have ever seen (although not quite as large as the giant fish that sits atop the entry!) Their fish is always fresh and dishes are beautifully plated at this lively restaurant.
