The South Side’s “Nakama” is a trendy South Side Hibachi and Sushi restaurant that serves some of the largest rolls I have ever seen (although not quite as large as the giant fish that sits atop the entry!) Their fish is always fresh and dishes are beautifully plated at this lively restaurant.

The “Beehive” is a fun and quirky coffeehouse with a very laid-back atmosphere. Everywhere you look you’ll find an eclectic mix of décor that was best described by another blogger as “garage sale chic.” In addition to serving coffee drinks and light fare – including some vegetarian options – they also serve alcoholic beverages including Boozy Floats and Liquor Milkshakes.

“Urban Outfitters” is a great shop located in the heart of Southside Works. Besides the great selection of trendy apparel, they also carry a variety of fun and unique tchotchkes including jewelry & accessories, artwork, small housewares and much more. Like many of the other locales I have been posting lately, this is another place to pick up holiday gifts or stocking stuffers.
